pigeon

pigeon explores the intimacies of human posessions, the idea of human imprint on the household objects. The materials were sourced from the remote area in Edinburgh where a lot of old furniture is left on the streets, it attracts me because of its distinctly used, worn-out quality. Working with plastics and cotton wool I wanted to translate this appliance of human comfort into an object on display, with the exposed, disturbingly intimate qualities of the anatomical model.
