In fish fingers I worked with cling film, frequently used in food packaging and applied it to re-package used and discarded objects. Soft toy is an object that is both very personal and highly antropomorphised, and cellophane interests me both as a protective layer and an decorative feature. It introduces consumerist aesthetic into personal histories; re-packages the past into chunks of condensed narrative imagery.
