Inverleith printmaking workshop : Edinburgh College of Art : 2007
chicken cottage is one of the projects that arose from my research of user-defined spaces and urban voids. Outside the printmaking studio in Inverleith is an archway of identical small spaces, filled into non-existence by centuries of household debris. The installation re-opens one of spaces in its original quality, revealing its decay over time and synthesizing the experience of the space as it was found.
